Overview
What is Summer School on Sustainability Micro-Credentials?
It is a face-to-face Summer School for EU-CONEXUS Bachelor students, taking place between 7 and 11 of July 2025 in Technical University of Civil Engineering in Bucharest, Romania. You can choose 2 or 3 micro-credentials out of 3 we have in offer, connected to Sustainability sector, to complete them during face-to-face week.
What are micro-credentials in SmUCS?
Microcredentials in Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability is a new EU-CONEXUS academic offer for Bachelor studentes of EU-CONEXUS alliance.
It will provide you with entrepreneurial, ecological and digital skills to enhance your future insertion in the labour market. All topics have been chosen based on an analysis of the most relevant reports on future trends and needs in the labour market. You will enrich your C.V. with state-of-the-art skills on high demand in the 21st century labour market.

Acceptance rules
First comes, first served rule applied – the date and time of the application matters.
Equal number of spots is guaranteed for each university (in case of not enough applications from one university, another university will receive the spots).
Programme rules
Student has to participate in 100% of the classes, including extra activities during Summer School, and pass all the assessments, to be able to receive the certificates for each micro-credential.
Programme structure
The EU-CONEXUS micro-credential offer is organised in 6 sectors, each of which offers several short learning units from which you can choose. Each micro-credential is equivalent to 1 ECTS (around 25 effort hours), offering flexibility for you to combine it with other study programmes or work. Our Micro-credentials in SmUCS present you with opportunities to access multidisciplinary and cross-disciplinary learning such as a new skill or competence.
